Our Location

We are located on the Pontoon in the village of Dittisham on the River Dart, just a few miles up river from Dartmouth. We do not have a waterside office, so all bookings need to be made in advance and one of our team will be on the pontoon to meet you, ready to hand over your chosen boat and give you a safety briefing and assist with any information you require.

The River Dart is one of the most beautiful rivers in the country. From Dittisham it is possible to sail down river to Dartmouth or up river to Totnes, with opportunities to explore the many creeks and beautiful places to stop for a picnic or just moor up for a visit to the pub.

You can visit Sharpham Vineyard for some cheese and wine, the cafe at Stoke Gabriel or the pubs at the top of the creek at Tuckenhay, there is mooring available at the Maltsters Arms in Tuckenhay.

Parking in Dittisham - There is a Pay and Display car park located off Riverside road. Riverside road is between the Red Lion pub and the village church. Once parked there are two ways to the village pontoon, if the tide is out you can walk along the riverbank to the pontoon, if the tide is in you need to take the path located behind the children's play area, follow this path behind the houses and after a few minutes walk you will arrive at Manor street where you need to turn left and walk down the hill to the pontoon.

Paddle Boards for Hire

We are able to offer you the opportunity to learn what has been described as the worlds fastest growing new sport - Stand Up Paddle Boarding.

The sport is an ancient form of surfing and has its origin in the Hawaiian Islands, the great thing about it is that you can do it on the calm waters of the River Dart or in the surf of the sea, not only is it a fun way to get afloat it is also a great form of exercise.

We offer training sessions for the beginner with British Stand Up Paddle Association (BSUPA) instructors and board hire for those who have already mastered the sport, we also offer adventure tours on the Dart where you have the opportunity to explore the river and it's many creeks.

The boards we use are made by the Red Paddle Company and are the worlds toughest inflatable boards, we also sell boards should you wish to own one.

Please call to discuss prices for rentals, lessons, tours and board sales.
