Thurlestone Sands Beach - Thurlestone

Thurlestone Sands is sheltered within the bay with fine shingle sand which gives the sea the clarity of Mediterranean turquoise and makes swimming sensational.

Quieter than South Milton this is another locals' favourite and sunbathing in peace and quiet is a preference.

Towards the south of the beach, rock pools are exposed at low tide to keep budding marine biologists fascinated.
