“I can also give my clients the added protection of being ABTA, IATA and ATOL protected, meaning that if your booking company goes bust, you are covered and you will be able to get to the front of the queue for a flight home.”

Amanda’s clients tend to be those people who miss the experience of a travel agent, looking through the brochures, booking the whole trip together, as well as people who want someone to take the hassle of booking all the individual pieces off their hands.

Amanda grew up in the South Hams before studying at Torquay Tech and moving to London. While she was there she worked for the Rolling Stones, did some nannying in Barbados, DJ’d in Dudley’s, went to California and worked in the Canadian consulate and then did a stint as a travel guide. 

At the age of 27 she came back to the South Hams to get married, have a son, and worked for a decade as a senior account manager at Experian. 

It was then that she realised that women of her age and size were being ignored in the fashion world and 
started Posh Totti, which she successfully ran for 15 years before selling the shop (although keep an eye out for her as a pop-up at Stokely Farm Shop). 

All of this wealth of experience means that she can get things done, get the best deals and has the knowledge and the confidence to help people organise the holidays of their dreams.
