Our smartphones, tablets and laptops are an essential part of our daily lives nowadays, so when they go wrong, you need them fixed quickly and professionally - you need iRepair Gadgets

iRepair Gadgets is owned and run by Spencer Neale, based in St Anne’s Chapel, and he can repair any of the big mobile phone brands, iPads, laptops, Nintendo Switches and your GHDs. He can even do your PAT testing for you.

iRepair Gadgets is different from other repairers because they can get most of your screen replacements and other simple smartphone repairs done between 30 minutes and an hour - and that makes the world of difference when everything is in your phone, you don’t want to be away from it any longer than you have to.

Most iPad repairs are done within 24 hours and anything that isn’t kept in stock can usually be repaired within 48 hours.

“Repairs to screens, charging, battery replacements, water damage, I can basically do everything” Spencer explains, “I can even do some board repairs and for anything else I have a very trusted company in Ireland that I can outsource too.”

Spencer’s iRepair Gadgets is a one-man-band he set up around three years ago and he has been building up his stock of parts and his client list ever since. Starting off fixing GHD hair straighteners, he caught the fixing bug and has been doing it ever since.

He’s “always busy” and has invested in the top kit to make sure he is at the forefront of the repairs game. He even has a new laser machine, meaning he can replace the tempered glass back to the new iPhones.

“I pay extra for the best quality parts”, he explained, “but my prices are lower than most other repairers around here, and much lower than sending them back to Apple or Samsung. I also give a 12 month warranty for iPhones and a 30 day warranty for everything else.

“I have people coming to me from all over the South Hams but also all over Devon, Plymouth, Torbay, Paignton and quite a few from Saltash too. I pride myself on my professionalism and loyalty.”

Fixing your tech is not only better for your pocket, but also better for the environment. The United Nations University estimated that 49.8 million tonnes of e-waste were generated worldwide in 2018. Calculated into just smartphones, that is the equivalent of 9,023 phones being thrown away every second.

Spencer came to the South Hams when he was seven-years-old and after moving around a bit as an adult, he is back in the area for good.

You can find out more about iRepair Gadgets, you can call Spencer on 07920 461079, find him on Facebook, or check out his listing on SouthHams.com HERE. You can also book your repair through their booking system (on their website via their listing).

You can either drop off your phone physically to Spencer in St Anne’s Chapel or you can post it as a special delivery (as this covers you for up to £500 damage) in transit.
