It feels like no effort at all getting up the hills and was the perfect way to get to 4 beaches all in a day. John is super friendly and will make sure that you know exactly how to use the bikes before you set off and the cafe is great to refuel on coffee and snacks. They're all much fitter than me and find the hills in the South Hams manageable (something I definitely don't on a regular bike). The e-bike was amazing - I managed to scale the hills without once getting off to push! It was such a treat to be able to join in with the family activity and not having them waiting for me to catch up. The rental process was easy. The price was very reasonable and the bike was clearly very new and very looked after. I couldn't fault it at all and would highly recommend to locals and visitors alike.
