Jackie Gale Textile Art

Jackie Gale is an award winning textile artist based in Yealmpton, in the South Hams. She is known for her bright and cheerful artwork, filled with joyful colour and textile creativity.  Her collections include local sea and landscapes, nature inspired art as well as fun, quirky pieces. Jackie warmly welcomes visitors to her studio in Yealmpton, where they can view and buy original pieces and limited edition prints. 

Her inspiration comes from a childhood surrounded by creatives within her family as well as her travels around the world.  Her love of architecture and wild flora is seen in many pieces where she successfully combines the two in her signature style. Livingin South Devon also gives her an endless supply of beautiful harbours, coves and woodlands to explore and draw ideas from. She does firmly believe, however, that inspiration is all around us and that every place has a story to tell. Jackie welcomes commissioned work and her current lead time is 4-6 months.
