We help you to meet your needs and realise your dreams on your own Havencare Support Pathway©.
Havencare uses Person Centred Approaches, Positive Behaviour Support and Active Support. These are ways of supporting you to nurture your amazing potential with dignity and respect, helping you to be as independent as you can.
Supported Living
Supported Living supports you to live in your own home. You might choose to live alone, with a friend, or in a shared house with a group of like-minded people.
We can help if you need just a few hours support a week to help with certain activities such as paying bills or cooking.
We can help if you need 24 hour support. Sometimes, more support may be needed to begin with, which can be reduced as you become more confident whilst learning new and exciting skills.
We can help you to choose your support team, finding people with great personalities and similar interests to you. We call this 'matching'. We will train your team to provide you with just the right support.
Residential Care
You have the right to choose how you live and with whom. Residential Care is an option that includes the cost of your support, accommodation, food and bills on one payment. Usually, it means living with other people and sharing some support costs.
While many people want the opportunity to live in their own home (that you may own, or rent), this may not be the best option for everyone. People living in our residential homes are provided with the same opportunities to learn and enjoy as those living within our supported living service.
