However, I ordered some cheesy potatoes with a dip for £6.50 and was presented with a quite a small bowl for the price. On my second bite I noticed that the potatoes were frozen in the middle so I returned the meal. The friendly woman said she would sort it out but it was returned to me by another worker and it was the same dish which had been heated again in the oven. I was disappointed because, considering the price of the dish, I firstly expected a freshly made meal which had not come out of the freezer, and also I expected a fresh batch to be made when I returned the frozen meal, rather than just to be heated through again. It made me feel that I was being a nuisance to them rather than feeling valued as a customer. I ate the dish and swiftly left. What a great place. There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this little gem...if there is something then you must be a miserable so and so! Plenty of parking, dogs welcome, eating in or out with a view to enjoy whichever one you decide to take and as for the decor, well, I absolutely love the humour and thought that's gone into it. The food? well...that was the best vegetarian brekkie that I'd had in a good long while. It was delicious, served along with very hot coffee by a friendly, polite staff member. Lovely range of tempting cakes to go with your coffee and you can even buy them to take away with. Six delicious scones snapped up along with some clotted cream and strawberry and rhubarb jam from the little farm shop. Please visit this farm cafe. So much thought has been put into the design of the entire place. Beautiful quirky gifts and local produce with a great selection to buy in the shop. We arrived just after they had stopped serving breakfast but they accommodated us and it was delicious as was the coffee to go with it.
