It involved a crane and the Pitman's team . The tree was removed in one day with a road closure in place organised by Pitman's . I cannot fault these guys . The climber was incredible . We can advise that we had a major project in Salcombe, which required extensive tree surgery and felling. All this was accomplished extremely professionally by Pittman Trees who carried out the work within a very tight programme and left the site in a tidy and neat fashion. Very pleased with the work carried out. It was done in a very efficient and friendly manner and everything was cleared away afterwards. This was the first time we have used their services and I would have no hesitation in recommending Pittman Trees.

Pittman Trees have been engaged by us for at least 10 to 15 years to cut down numerous trees as required from time to time and trim large hedges on a regular basis. All work has been carried out promptly and cuttings removed from site efficiently and cleanly with no damage to adjacent plants or shrubs. They are fully insured and work in close liaison with SHDC as required and are able to give professional advice on procedures particularly with trees subject to 'Tree Preservation Orders'.
