'Learn to Speak Dog with Rachel Meadows’ is a service aimed to educate and facilitate healthy relationships and bonds between dogs and their guardians. From birth to death, Rachel offers a variety of services that support each phase of a dogs life, helping to guide you through whatever problem should arise. From puppy education to fearful or reactive dogs, Rachel has the experience and passion to support families to manage, overcome or re-educate with mindfulness and solution focused outcomes. Rachel is a proud member of the association of INTODOGS training and behaviour guild where she has been appointed a member of the ethics board. Rachel believes in force free and reward based training methods with an animal centred approach.
Rachel has a particular passion for body language analysis and observations. With over 15 years dog training experience and 15 years veterinary nursing experience, from small animal practice to large animal, including zoo animals, she has a keen eye for potential posture or pain related problems when working closely in assessing dogs.
Rachel believes it takes a village to raise a dog and she has created that village within her field to ensure every dog she sees gets the best care and holistic approach they deserve. Ethics are at the forefront of everything Rachel stands for and the colleagues she works with share her sentiments. Everything from talented trainers, behaviourists, animal practitioners, to nutritionists and physiotherapists are included in her daily case management should the family in question need it.
Rachel is committed to continuous education in her field and is in further training to bring new levels to her skillset. ONE to ONE Behaviour Consultations
If you have a specific training or behavioural issue with your dog then perhaps working one on one is the thing for you. Some dogs may be too nervous to work as part of a team.
