The Globe Inn is situated in the pretty village of Frogmore, which lies between Dartmouth and Kingsbridge, in glorious unspoilt South Hams countryside. Restaurant and Bars

The two bar areas offer a wide choice of well kept local real ales (Good Beer Guide 2013) Ciders and Fine Wines. The bar itself boasts beautiful exposed stone and beams with both open fire and log burning stove, we offer a cosy snug area with sofas and cushions. The large bar is perfect for chatting with locals and visitors alike and behind this we have the Barn Room which is ideal for families, functions and parties.

The bar areas accommodate approx 50 people and the Barn Room approx 36.

For Al fresco dining we offer our delightful patio and terrace area with its stunning countryside views, just perfect for those milder days and evenings. At the Globe we offer an extensive menu that includes many traditional pub favourites as well as our daily specials that make the most of the glorious local produce available to us. All of our food is homemade using the freshest, local ingedients.

Our oak floored bar takes you through to the traditional games room with darts and pool, dogs are welcome in these areas.

The Globe Inn dates back to the 18th Century and today finds eight delightful and spacious modern bedrooms. The Globe was fully refurbished in 2007 and although it has fully retained its character the rooms are now fitted with all the latest mod-cons you would expect from a 4 Star Visit Britain establishment.

Functions

The Globe Inn is ideally located between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth for all types of functions. The Globe can be used exclusively for larger functions although we do have facilities for more intimate get-togethers. Our new large terrace and garden area is perfect for weddings as the countryside backdrop and estuary bridge is perfect for those all important photos. The barn room is used for more private meetings and is available for presentations and meetings.
