The new wood fired hot tub was fired up and used to relax and listen to The birds ,watch the pigs rooting about in the neighboring field. John and Liz were on hand if required, they are a font of local knowledge And have created a comfortable, relaxed holiday experience in the South Devon countryside. ]]> Sun, 06 Sep 2026 07:59:08 +0000 https://www.southhams.com/directory/places-to-stay-and-accommodation/holiday-cottages-and-self-catering/discussions/review?id=2021 https://www.southhams.com/directory/places-to-stay-and-accommodation/holiday-cottages-and-self-catering/discussions/review?id=2021 We had a little family get away here and loved it! We stayed in sheep shack which was so cosy with everything we needed. Liz and John were very friendly and even invited us onto the farm which our son loved. During the day we walked to the village farm cafe (Really nice spot for brunch). Then walked down to the ferry and spent a few hours in Salcombe followed up by the beach (Mill Bay being our fave). Great stay and we hope to return in the summer! ]]> Fri, 09 May 2025 17:26:57 +0000 https://www.southhams.com/directory/places-to-stay-and-accommodation/holiday-cottages-and-self-catering/discussions/review?id=1734 https://www.southhams.com/directory/places-to-stay-and-accommodation/holiday-cottages-and-self-catering/discussions/review?id=1734 What can I say - this stay was FANTASTIC! Elizabeth and John were super helpful lovely hosts, and the field, location, animals, and accommodation was so well thought out and put together. We cannot wait to come back. ]]> Sat, 06 Apr 2024 14:56:29 +0000
