Wrangaton Golf Club is a unique and picturesque golf course of 9 moorland holes and 9 parkland holes.

Wrangaton Golf Club was founded in 1895 on the southern slopes of Dartmoor. Our course is unique - 9 moorland holes and 9 parkland holes. It’s very much a course of two halves and there is nothing else like it in Devon!

The moorland nine holes offer stunning views of the Devonshire countryside towards the sea 10 miles away and has no bunkers and no trees. The parkland nine is a complete contrast with its lush fairways bordered by hedgerows and trees. You really do get two courses for the price of one!

Situated just a mile off the A38 Devon Expressway and midway between Exeter and Plymouth, Wrangaton Golf Club is accessible and easy to find. We are a members club, run by the members for the members.

We welcome visitors anytime and hope to see you soon.

Golf Course

The men's course Par is 70 and it is 6065 yards long, the ladies course Par is 71 and is 5248 yards long. The course offers a challenge to golfers of all levels.

Buggies

Buggies are available for hire from April to October, and booking is suggested. Electric trolleys can generally be used all through the year as the course drains well and is rarely, if ever, closed.

Visitors are welcome to Wrangaton any time, but to avoid disappointment check tee time availability with the Office or the Pro Shop on 01364 73229.

How to Join?

Wrangaton Golf Club has an active membership of more than 500. The mens, vets (seniors), ladies and juniors sections all play full competition fixtures aimed at players of all standards.

We particularly welcome new players who wish to improve their game and, without feeling pressured, work towards attaining a handicap.

We play friendly matches against other local clubs, and mixed internal competitions which promote healthy rivalry amongst the players!  We also run social events – one of the most popular is the regular quiz nights.

Wrangaton is known for its friendliness, and new members are always welcomed and encouraged to join in. Please contact Bob Clark if you have any questions, or would like more information about our great membership rates.
