Coastal Event Services is now able to offer a bookkeeping service for small businesses (sole traders and partnerships). Qualified Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 2 Certificate in Accounting (2017). Currently studying AAT Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting (due to complete in February 2018). Familiarity with Excel, QuickBooks and Sage.
Coastal Event Services was founded in 2014 by Sarah Walker, to provide local event management in South Devon, building on her background of corporate and hospitality experience. "Back in 2003, I was working for Barclays Bank in London as a Personal Assistant and happened to mention to my boss that I wanted to get into events...a few weeks later I was guiding 200 delegates around an exhibition hall, armed with a branded t-shirt, walkie talkie and green umbrella. There was no going back!
Since that day I have clocked up over 100 events; from weddings and charity balls, to 3-day exhibitions and pharmaceutical conferences for thousands of delegates. I've worked at the Tower of London, Ricoh Arena football stadium, hotels and conference centres across Europe and even at a Shangri’la resort in Oman.
