Calling all children - both young and old! You will arrive at Queen’s Park Station, Paignton (TQ4 6AF) for your return journey to Kingswear on the famous Santa Express. Each carriage is decorated for Christmas and during your trip you will be entertained by close-up magic and, of course, our famous two-part mini pantomime to get you in the festive spirit (part one on your outward journey and part two on your return journey - c.10 minutes in total). Santa Claus visits you at your seat accompanied by his elves pulling a gargantuan sleigh (Prancer and Dancer et al will have been given the day off!). All children receive a gift (up to 14 years of age only).

When the beautiful and kind-hearted Cinderella's ugly sisters, prevent her from attending a Royal Ball, she gets some unexpected help from her Fairy Godmother. Be prepared to come along and chase off the wicked Anastasia and Drizella for the sake of true love!

Whilst on the Santa Express you will be offered a glass of mulled wine and festive mince pie (adults only). Close up magic and lineside I-Spy ensure that every member of the family is involved in this truly magical experience.

This is a fully ticketed event with allocated seating so pre-booking is essential. If you wish to travel with another party please inform us at the time of booking and we will do our utmost to accommodate you all together. We can offer a wheelchair specific carriage that means the whole family can sit together in comfort to enjoy this unique experience (please book a wheelchair space via the telephone or in person at our Paignton station only - online bookings not available). Sorry, only registered disability assistance dogs allowed.
Please ensure you arrive at least 30 minutes before your Santa Express departure time. The Head of Steam café will be open serving tea, coffee, (fabulous!) hot chocolate and snacks. Toilets are available at the station and on the train.

Jealous of Snow White's beauty, a wicked queen orders the death of her pure and virtuous stepdaugther, but later discovers that Snow White is still alive and hiding in a cottage with friendly little miners - the seven dwarfs!! Disguising herself as a hag, the Queen brings a poisoned apple to Snow White, who falls into a death-like sleep that can be broken only by a kiss from her Prince. Be prepared to come along and join in the Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho chorus and chase off the wicked Queen for the sake of true love. Altogether now. . . . . "Heigh-Ho-o-o-o-o. . . . .!"
