Two day Patchwork & Quilting workshop with 13 hours of teaching. This is a fun, hands on workshop where you will learn the basics and make your first item - either a wall hanging or a patchwork cushion cover
Skills you can expect to learn include:
- Hand sewing techniques
- Colour theory
- Fabric choices
- English Paper Piecing
- American Block Piecing
- Beginners Rotary Cutting
- Borders
- Quilting by hand
This workshop will appeal to the absolute beginner possibly with little, or no, sewing experience and those with existing sewing skills who want to learn patchwork & quilting. By the end of the workshop you will have sufficient experience to progress with projects of your own and you may even want to sign up for our intermediate course to take your newly learned skills to the next level.
Refreshments are provided throughout the course including fantastic home made lunches.
