An entertaining and informative evening to find out more about autism, ADHD and other neurodiversities all in one place.
I am a qualified counsellor and started to research about autism after my daughter started to struggle during lockdown.
I discovered about how her autism had been missed at school as girls present differently to boys. It also started to connect some dots for me about my own struggles growing up leading to my self recognition of autism and ADHD.
During this time I felt there wasn't very much support here in South Devon and so decided to use my experience to host a workshop to help support those who are in the same place I was.
This informative workshop will discuss about autism, ADHD, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and other not so well know neurodiversities as well as looking at myths that persist around autism and ADHD. We will look at how autism and ADHD present differently in women and girls.
There will opportunities for discussion and to ask questions.
