Hydrotherapy Support Worker
Salary: £10.20-£10.50 per hour
Hours: 12 hours per week
Location: Deanbrook, South Brent
Havencare are currently looking for a Hydrotherapy Support Worker to support a lady called Hannah to access Hydrotherapy sessions at Seal Hayne Swimming Pool located at the Hydro-Hub in Newton Abbot, Howton Lane, TQ12 6NQ. Hannah currently accesses Hydrotherapy at the Hydro-Hub three times a week as part of her weekly leisure activities.
She will need full support to access the pool, help with dressing and physio exercises within the pool to help her with mobility. She also has a wheelchair to access the community, which is battery operated. You will also need to travel to and from Deanbrook Residential Home in South Brent collecting Hannah for her sessions and driving her back home so you will need to hold a driver’s licence.
Deanbrook is situated approximately 15 minutes off the A38 from the Marsh Mills roundabout in South Brent.
Hours: 12 hours per week, three days a week on the following rota:
Mondays 1pm-5pm
Wednesdays 10am-2pm
Fridays 10am-2pm
**Please note Hydro session times may vary slightly depending on bookings. This generally differs by 15-30 minutes**

Essential Requirements: You will need to be a driver and confident in water. Please note that due to the needs of the service users we support, we will only be considering female applicants for this role.
For occupational requirement reasons we are looking to appoint a female only for this post (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9)
