Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following a single vehicle collision just off the A38 Devon Expressway.

Officers were called shortly after 10.15pm on Monday, 13 July, following the collision at the top of the slip road for Buckfastleigh and the Dartbridge overbridge.

As a result of the collision, the passenger in the Jaecoo 7 - a woman in her 20s from Plymouth - sustained serious injuries. The driver was uninjured.

The road was closed for some time whilst the investigation took place and Devon and Cornwall Police Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time of the collision and may have seen anything, or anyone who may have relevant dash-camera footage to call 101 or visit their website quoting 50260183703.
