Our directory is exclusively for businesses who operate within the South Hams. All businesses, working from a premises or operating from home and regardless of size, are invited to join and promote their products and services to visitors of our website.

We do all the design, illustration and hard work! You can easily update and amend your listing (advert) FREE of charge at any time.

There are several images which need to be added to your listing, you will only be allowed to add or edit these if you have a paid membership.

Logo Image

You can use your facebook or twitter profile picture, the size is 400 x 400 px. Any image larger than this will be resized automatically.

Cover Image

The cover image, like facebook and twitter, sits behind your profile image, the size is 1200 x 400 px. Any image larger than this will be resized automatically.

Gallery Images

To create a good gallery on your listing please upload images which are at least 1500 px (landscape or portrait).

If you have any problems try using this www.picresize.com, or please contact us for help.

In addition to your basic company information, you can add an image gallery, a video as well as other documents to your profile. These might include a PDF of your menu or brochure, to tell your customers more about your business and make your profile stand out.

(this feature is only available on paid memberships, contact us to upgrade).

There is the option for people to leave reviews about your business, much like those on other platforms such as Facebook and TripAdvisor. Our reviews can support your wider reputation by appearing in searches and your Google listing.

Sharing the link to your business profile on other marketing platforms such as Facebook and customer newsletters.

Telling your team and other people you know about the page and encouraging them to leave a review by clicking on the ‘write review’ button.

You can also add reviews from other platforms yourself, such as those that have been hand written to you or shared on TripAdvisor. To do this, simply log out of your account, navigate to your SouthHams.com profile as if you were a visitor, press the ‘write review’ button and follow the instructions. Make sure when you do this that you are not logged into your account.

We regularly publish news and features on our blog, which we share with our social media audience and in our new customer newsletter, available to all who sign up.

These range from company news to features about businesses, charities and individuals in the surrounding area.

If you have any news you'd like us to share with our audience, you can submit news to us. Click on the option on the form and an upload attachment feature will appear. Alternatively just send us an email to admin@southhams.com.

When your membership has been created, an invoice will be emailed to you. We accept credit and debit cards through our secure payment provider Stripe. You can pay securely online on our payment page.
