Staddon Height Golf Club has raised nearly £5,000 for a piece of specialist equipment for the Childrens' Ward.

The Senior Section of Staddon Heights Golf Club, Plymstock, has raised £4,700 towards the purchase of a specialist vein finding equipment for the Childrens' Ward at Derriford Hospital.

L-R: Jamie Lee (Plymouth Hospitals), Chris May (Staddon Heights Golf Club Seniors Captain), Max Lowles (General Manager at ADS Windows & Doors)

This equipment allows the vein to be lit up so that Doctors and Nurses can gain quick access to sick children's veins to avoid the stress and upset.

Seniors Captain Chris May and Max Lowles, General Manager at ADS Windows and Doors, presented a cheque for £4,700 to the fundraiser for the ward, Jamie Lee, on Thursday, 25 January, at Staddon Heights Golf Club.
