Dani Bardot, owner of Devon Aesthetics, is a healthcare professional with a psychology degree, who is also working towards a mental health nursing degree alongside becoming a prescriber. She worked through the pandemic as a nurse and carer, and has now retrained as a advanced aesthetics practitioner.

Dani moved to the South Hams from London, and found that “people are much happier here” so there wasn’t as much call for her work as a psychologist. What she had always been fascinated by though, was cosmetic procedures and more so now the holistic impact of making people feel good on the inside and the outside.

Dani launched Devon Aesthetics in January 2024 and has so far grown a large client base here, keen for her factual information and passion for her work.

Dani said: “This line of work came very naturally to me and it is something I’ve really found my passion in. Having worked initially in my youth as a personal training, anatomy and physiology was always a strength of mine. Over time from my psychology degree to nursing, this depth of knowledge now really aids me significantly within aesthetics.

"This year shall see that develop, as I plan to educate myself further prescriber. This year sees the launch of Devon Aesthetics Academy. A one-to-one training academy for future aestheticians, passionate to develop their careers within the industry.”

Dani continued: “There are a lot of people offering Botox injections and lip fillers, and while for many individuals this is an ideal option, however, as a healthcare professional I wanted to ventured into more alternative and holistic possibilities.

"I personally as a 46-year-old woman, who has used neuromodulators and filler upon numerous occasions, has now been convinced that we have better and more long term anti aging solutions! Solutions that have minimal risk, are backed by science and only involve the use of substances created by our own bodies!
