The Ring O' Bells in West Alvington near Kingsbridge. A pub with real ales, lovely food and bed and breakfast accommodation. Sunny beer garden with plenty of parking.
Located on the A381 between Kingsbridge and Salcombe, the Ring O' Bells overlooks the beautiful Devon countryside and Kingsbridge Estuary.
The pub offers bed and breakfast accommodation, with five en-suite letting rooms and all have direct external access and benefitting from the views.
Bar
Our bar area is modern, fresh and friendly. There is a log fire to keep you warm during the cool winter nights as well as a pool table and darts.
Lounge
Our lounge area has a selection of large comfortable sofas and a wood burner to keep things cosy. There is a chest full of games for small people and we are dog friendly.
Wi-Fi is available throughout.
Restaurant
Our restaurant overlooks the surrounding countryside and our light airy venue is the perfect setting for lunch with friends or an evening meal with your loved ones. All food is locally sourced and cooked fresh to order.
We will accommodate any special requests or dietary requirements.
Our Sunday Carvery is popular, please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Accommodation, Bed and Breakfast in the Kingsbridge area
We have 3 double bedrooms and one family room (which has a bunk bed and a super king size bed, which can be split into twin beds if preferred) on the first floor.
We also have an additional twin/double room on the ground floor.
All our rooms have en-suite shower rooms, a flat screen TV / DVD player and tea and coffee making facilities.
All the letting rooms have direct external access overlooking the rolling Devon countryside.
Dogs are welcome and are charged an additional £5 B&B per night.
Events
EVERY MONDAY - QUIZ NIGHT
£1 per person, proceeds to the Devon Air Ambulance, 8pm start. Prize for the winning team.

We had a Sunday lunch with a glass of wine using our Groupon voucher. We both chose beef which was delicious and the carvery vegetables were freshly cooked and delightful. Everyone who served us was smiley, so a huge thank you.

Having walked around Kingsbridge- we decided to spend a night and relax with supper etc. All was dreadful. Noise - awful decor and tatty rooms. Never again, as we didn't get a good nights sleep, due to the drunk customers - all the evening.

Stayed a night here recently at short noice. Arrived late in the eve but this wasn't a problem. Room was clean and very good value. Good beer and great fish and chips. Would recommend to colleagues.

We stayed in May. Enjoyed wish we had longer. The breakfasts are to dire for how big? Jon, Vic very friendly. Loved the views towards the estuary. Very happy that the bar is dog friendly. We ate in the pub a couple of times. Decent home cooked food. Daily specials. Not expensive. Rooms very comfy nothing to much for them, you only need to ask, they have a ground floor room now if you don't like climbing the steps upstairs. Tuesdare are buy one get one free on fish and chips - better than the chip shop.
