Martyn Norsworthy wins TEN honours at the 2026 MUSE Photography Awards

Martyn Norsworthy, of Norsworthy Photography, has won four Golds and six Silvers at the 2026 MUSE Photography Awards. 

Martyn Norsworthy has been recognized as a Multi Gold and Silver Winner in the Fine Art Photography-Pets category at the 2026 MUSE Photography Awards, an international competition recognizing excellence in photography.

With more than 4,000 entries from more than 40 countries worldwide submitted this year, the award continues to uphold its position as a global benchmark for creative and visual excellence.

Martyn secured recognition for the entries titled “Bill”, “Daisy”, “Harvey”, “Lu”, “Nelly”, “Nyx”, “Pebble”, “Roo”, “Ruby” and “Tom”, which places emphasis on capturing the character of peoples' Pets. Eight of the winning shots were studio dog portraits and two were equine portraits shot on location.

Martyn said: "Overjoyed to win 10 awards out of 10 entries. It was a last-minute entry, having been invited to enter. 10/10 for work all captured for clients is so special, as I don’t shoot for competitions”

Martyn remembers little details of every one of his winning photos: 

“Bill” – GOLD - A shot of this handsome Poodle who needed his paw held as comfort and connection.

“Daisy” – GOLD - Capturing her puppy shape and size as a Cain Corso she will be a big dog!

“Tom” – GOLD - My client wanted to capture Tom on his retirement from eventing. This strong-willed Horse looks Handsome here and the head and body shows his size and strength.

“Pebble” – GOLD -  Tiny little Working Cocker puppy. The crate for a size comparison and that little head tilt shows her inquisitiveness.

“Lu”  - SILVER - What a beauty, I wanted to capture he colourful coat and her different eye colours, using the colour pop background shows it all up!

“Harvey” – SILVER - Capturing the black and white body of this handsome Dalmatian, using the colour pop to show him off and the bubbles to add playfulness.

“Nelly” – SILVER - a British Bulldog, the browns, whites and tans of her coat stand out so well against the yellow background, giving this artwork some character and playfulness.

“Nyx” – SILVER - A young German Shepherd puppy, that gorgeous head tilt and those ears!

“Roo” – SILVER - My client wanted me to showcase her beloved Horse, she wanted her muscled rear end and face in the portrait, a great pose and striking equine portrait.

“Ruby” – SILVER - I have never photographed a completely blind dog before. I worked my charm and she followed all my commands to produce a wonderful set of portraits.
