Let’s celebrate together the beauty, bounty and biodiversity of an orchard at the Dittiscombe Rewilding Project near Slapton.
Come and enjoy the tranquility and special place of the apple orchard within the valley, surrounded by scrubland, springs, streams and grassy meadows.
- Learn about the pollinators which depend on fruit blossom
- Find out how to make insect homes
- Inspect the insects we find using bug pots and lenses
- Take away a fun fact sheet about orchards
- Young people, children and families are all welcome
