Police appeal for witnesses after racially aggravated incident

Officers are appealing for the public’s help to identify this man in connection with a racially aggravated public order incident in Plympton.

The incident happened at around 2pm on Thursday 7 May near Glen Road.

A couple were walking with their child in a pram when a nearby dog appeared to be out of control and lunged towards the child.

When they challenged the dog owner, he shouted racial abuse at the woman.

Officers are investigating the incident and have released an image of a man they would like to identify as he may be able to assist with their enquiries.

They would like to hear from anyone who recognises him and anyone who witnessed what happened.
