Parkland Caravan & Camping Site Kingsbridge - AA five gold pennant touring camping and glamping site, located in the heart of South Hams. Adults only - No Dogs - Open All Year.
Camping and Touring
Parkland offers you a selection of deluxe and super pitches with gravel base and fully serviced grass pitches.
The site has a large, wide entrance for easy access and we offer our pitches for tents, trailer tents, caravans and motorhomes, including RV’s up to 13 metres.
The fully serviced individual grass pitches are located within our camping ‘paddock’. Each pitch is approximately 9m x 9m, backed by natural hedgerow and sided with lollipop fencing with colourful planting. These pitches all have 16amp electric hook-up, mains water tap, grey waste drainage and your own picnic bench.
The standard pitches provide you with a gravel base (12m x 5m) for your unit and a grass area (up to 3m), 16amp electric hook-up, mains water point and full drainage for grey and black waste and a traditional picnic bench.
The premier pitches provide you with a gravel base (12m x 5m) for your unit and a grass area (up to 3m), 16amp electric hook-up, mains water point and full drainage for grey and black waste, and a traditional picnic bench. These two pitches have their own amenities adjacent to the pitch. You will have your own toilet, washbasin and walk in shower.
The three deluxe pitches all have access to private facilities. Each pitch has a large gravel base ideal for a caravan or motorhome (up to 8 metres) or use the grass area for a large tent (only one unit per pitch). Your pitch will have 16amp electric hook-up, mains water point and full main drainage for grey/black waste. A garden area, picnic table and washing line.
Our deluxe pitches give you access to your own private washroom and complimentary use of the shared utility room. The utility room is only available to the three deluxe pitches and includes a dishwashing sink, dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and iron and board. There are then three individual washrooms, you will be allocated your own washroom (keys provided on arrival). Two of the private washrooms have a large walk-in shower, hand basin and WC. The third washroom has a BATH and a walk in shower, along with hand basin and WC – this facility must be requested at the time of booking. These amenities will be cleaned on a daily basis for you.
The site can also accommodate (by prior arrangement) RV’s up to 13 metres on selected standard gravel pitches.
We request that all awnings, canopies, extensions and guy ropes must be within your allocated pitching area.
Parking is available for one car on each pitch, additional cars, boats or trailers may be accommodated on site by prior arrangement (additional fees may apply).
As noted all the pitches have 16 amp electric hook-ups which are tested annually and approved by NICEIC. For pitches with 16amp electric hook-up you must have your own appropriate leads/connections. All caravans must have a current gas/electric safety certificate.

Seasonal
A seasonal pitch at Parkland offers you the ideal base to explore and enjoy all that this area of outstanding natural beauty within South Devon has to offer, whether its just for weekends or the whole summer.
Your caravan will be sited on a generous level, gravel based ‘super pitch’ with 16amp electric hook-up, mains water supply and full mains drainage for grey and black waste.
- The ‘super pitches’ are suitable for a twin axle caravan (up to 26ft) with a pitching area for an awning, and parking for one vehicle
- And of course as a seasonal pitch customer, the on-site amenities are available for your convenience and comfort.
- With a seasonal pitch you can save on your fuel costs, save on your travelling time and your set up time – just arrive, sit back, relax and enjoy!!
We offer three types of seasonal pitches:
- Summer seasonal – your caravan is sited from April to October only (limited nights use included)
- Summer seasonal plus winter storage – your caravan is sited from April to October (limited nights use included), then winter stored from November to March
- All year seasonal – your caravan is sited for 12 months (limited nights use included)

Self Catering
We are pleased to offer you three options for a self catering stay at Parkland
Tonto’s View is a luxury one bedroom bungalow with lovely views over the adjacent rolling countryside. Queen size bed, open plan lounge area, dining area and fully fitted kitchen, large wet room shower (suitable for disabled use) and outside seating to enjoy the views.
Owls Flights is a luxury one bedroom cabin with stunning views across the fields down to the Estuary. The cabin has an ensuite shower/wc, lounge and dining area along with a small fitted kitchen. You have your own outside seating area to enjoy the views.
Auntie Bett’s is a small and cosy double room with en-suite shower/wc and micro kitchen. You will be amazed at the facilities provided within this small room.
Glamping
Parkland is delighted to offer you high quality ‘glamping’ options.
Garden View is our cosy cabin and has lovely views over the countryside towards Kingsbridge and Salcombe. The cabin has a double bed and seating area with its own mini kitchen and ensuite facilities, and of course outside seating to enjoy the views.
Estuary View is a small shepherds hut with 5ft double bed and small sofa, outside decking with stunning views towards the estuary. You also have you own mini kitchen and shower/WC facilities.
Blackbird and Robin are glamping pods with an ensuite toilet and washbasin. The pod is furnished with a 5ft bed, comfy sofa and small kitchen, along with outside deck and seating.
Sparrow and Wren are glamping pods, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. Each pod has a WC and washbasin, mini kitchen facilities, along with outside deck and seating.
Facilities
Parkland offers you excellent on-site amenities for your comfort on your modern holiday whether it's for a quick camping trip, a summer holiday, out of season getaway or a luxury glamping break.
The site offers two amenity buildings, both fully heated; one with central heating and one which is completely winterised with underfloor heating, and of course all the facilities have free constant hot water. An additional amenity building is also available for the exclusive use of our deluxe pitches and our super plus pitches have their own amenities.

- Modern laundry room with coin operated commercial washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities.

As well as everyday provisions and essential items, along with basic camping supplies such as charcoal and toilet chemicals.
We do our best to keep our prices as low as possible, with many items the same or sometimes even cheaper than the supermarkets.
Please note that fresh produce may be limited during the out of season periods, but we are always happy to take a pre-order to ensure fresh products await your arrival.
