Open all year round, the site’s three acres of level, mature, landscaped grounds provide fully serviced gravel or grass pitches, along with superior and premier ensuite pitches and deluxe with private washrooms. Seasonal pitch option, glamping, and self-catering accommodations are also available, making it an ideal base for weekends away, summer holidays, or longer breaks.

Surrounded by Devon hedgerows teeming with wildlife, Parkland offers stunning views towards Kingsbridge, Salcombe, and the rolling countryside of Dartmoor. Seasonal flowers such as primrose and stitchwort add bursts of color, while buddleia attract butterflies, and visitors may spot hedgehogs, pheasants, and tawny owls, creating a nature lover’s paradise.

Seasonal Pitches

A seasonal pitch at Parkland offers the perfect base to explore and enjoy everything the South Devon National Landscape has to offer. Whether you visit for occasional weekends or spend much of the summer here, your caravan will always be ready and waiting.

Your caravan will be sited on a generous, level, gravel-based “Super Pitch” with:

• 16amp electric hook-up

• Mains water supply

• Grey waste drainage

The Super Pitches are suitable for twin axle caravans (up to 26ft) and include space for an awning as well as parking for one vehicle.

As a seasonal guest, you’ll also enjoy full use of Parkland’s on-site facilities, ensuring your stay is comfortable and convenient whenever you arrive.

With a seasonal pitch you can save on fuel costs, travelling time, and set-up time — simply arrive, relax, and enjoy your time in South Devon.

Seasonal Pitch Options

We offer three types of seasonal pitch:

Summer Seasonal
Your caravan is sited April to October (limited nights use included).

Summer Seasonal + Winter Storage
Your caravan is sited April to October (limited nights use included), then stored on-site from November to March.

All-Year Seasonal
Your caravan remains sited for 12 months (limited nights use included).

Self Catering

We are pleased to offer two self-catering accommodation options at Parkland, providing comfortable and well-equipped spaces for guests who wish to enjoy the beauty of South Devon with the convenience of on-site facilities.

Tonto’s View

Tonto’s View is a luxury one-bedroom bungalow offering lovely views over the adjacent rolling countryside.

The accommodation features a queen-size bedroom, an open-plan lounge and dining area, and a fully fitted kitchen. A spacious wet-room shower, suitable for accessible use, provides comfort and convenience. Outside, there is private seating, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful countryside views.

Auntie Bett’s

Auntie Bett’s is a small yet cosy double room, thoughtfully designed to provide everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The room includes a double bed, en-suite shower and WC, and a cleverly designed micro kitchen. Guests are often surprised at the excellent range of facilities provided within this compact and welcoming space.

Glamping

Parkland is delighted to offer a range of high-quality glamping accommodation, providing the perfect blend of outdoor living with the comfort of modern facilities.

Garden View

Garden View is our cosy countryside cabin, offering lovely views across the rolling countryside towards Kingsbridge and Salcombe.

The cabin features a comfortable double bed, small sofa, mini kitchen, and ensuite shower and WC facilities. Outside, there is private seating, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Estuary View

Estuary View is a charming shepherd’s hut, designed for a peaceful and relaxing glamping stay.

Inside you’ll find a 5ft double bed, a small sofa, and thoughtfully arranged living space. The hut has its own mini kitchen and shower/WC facilities, along with outside decking where you can sit and enjoy the stunning views towards the estuary.

Blackbird & Robin

Blackbird and Robin are spacious glamping pods with ensuite toilet and washbasin facilities.

Each pod is furnished with a 6ft double bed (which can be configured as twin beds on request), comfortable chairs, and a small kitchen area. Outside you’ll find a decking area, garden seating space, and a gas BBQ for relaxed outdoor dining.

Sparrow & Wren

Sparrow and Wren are cosy glamping pods, ideal for a comfortable countryside escape.

Each pod includes a double bed and small sofa, along with WC and washbasin facilities and mini kitchen amenities. Outside there is a private deck, seating area, small garden space, and a gas BBQ.

With the four onsite pods you can also upgrade (additional fee) to have your own private washroom (shower, wc and basin) conveniently located behind the pod.

The site has two heated amenity buildings, one with central heating and one fully winterised with underfloor heating. All facilities benefit from free constant hot water.

An additional amenity building is available for the exclusive use of Deluxe pitches, while the superior and premier pitches enjoy their own ensuite facilities.

• Individual hotel style washrooms with toilet, washbasin and large shower or bath - voted Diamond by the 'loo of the year' awards!

• Accessible facilities with large wet-room shower, low-level basin, grab rails and emergency pull cord

• Local bacon, sausages, burgers and steaks supplied by a local butcher

• Fresh bread, croissants and cakes supplied by the local bakery Halletts

Guests can also choose from an array of local ciders and beers, along with a selection of wines and spirits.

Alongside fresh produce we also stock a range of everyday provisions and useful camping items, including:

We always aim to keep our prices as low as possible, with many items priced the same as — or sometimes even lower than — local supermarkets.

Please note that fresh produce may be more limited during the quieter out-of-season periods. However, we are always happy to take pre-orders to ensure fresh items are ready and waiting for your arrival.
