SWIM-VENTURES

Join our local knowledgeable swim guides and lifeguards for safe, exploratory open water swims at some of the South West most iconic open water swimming spots. 

Our gentle mile swim around the stunning Burgh Island is a bucket list swim for most open water swimmers. Take in the magical scenery, enjoy the seasonal wildlife and let our guides show you some secrets of the island including caves, gullies and archways. This swim never fails to impress!

Push yourself a little more and stretch out for a 5-6km swim along the Avon River. This stunning swim has the added bonus of the tidal push helping you along all the way. The reward at the end, known as the Bantham Swoosh is great fun and sees your speed increase by a good few miles an hour. Another bucket list swim for many and a truly tranquil swim for all.

Small groups and gently paced these swims are about enjoying the swim and the surroundings in a sociable environment.

Feeling fit? Why not challenge yourself with our Hikonic where we spend the day hiking, swimming, hiking and swimming again along parts of the stunning South Hams coastline carrying and towing all of our kit with us. A cold drink overlooking the sea is normally very welcome at the end of this adventurous and rewarding day out.

LIFESAVING COURSES

Coast to Coast Water Safety are a Surf Life Saving Great Britain accredited training centre and our team of experienced and knowledgeable lifeguard trainer assessors make our courses engaging, fun and guarantee you to leave with the skills to look after water users and to be able to save someone's life!

Our courses normally take place at Challaborough Beach - one of the South Coasts top surf beaches.

EVENT / PRIVATE WATER SAFETY COVER

Coast to Coast provides a high quality service for events big and small. Working with your event planning team to throughly risk assess your event, we work hard to ensure all eventualities are considered and assessed to help create an individualised water safety plan. 

A carefully selected team will support and provide vigilant safety cover throughout your event,  based on your requirements and needs.

Our highly experienced team are trained to conduct ongoing dynamic risk assessments throughout the event and possess all the skills and expertise to react and deal in a professional and quick manner should an incident or situation arise. 

TV/FILM PRODUCTION SUPPORT

We are able to provide an all round advisory, support and safety service with specialised equipment and experienced crews able to help manoeuvre people, camera crews and equipment in and around surf, rocks, shallow water. We can make certain you get shots close into the action, whilst ensuring the security of those involved in this constantly changing environment.
