Daves just completed work on my father in laws property. We got stuck outside due to a door mechanism failure and contacted Dave as an emergency - he arrived very promptly and is a lovely fellow. Dave suggested the best (and cheapest) approach would be to get access via a window on the other side of the property - this meant he needed to return home to get a ladder (as it was two floors up). Having done so, he quickly got access and freed the door. As it was a Saturday evening and he didn't have the precise part - he temporarily secured the door. As we lived some hours away we left our keys in Dave's capable hands. He kept us informed at every stage (even sending a video of work completed, as we live away). Having searched high and low for the correct parts, he returned to the property during the week to complete the repair. We have no hesitation in recommending Dave to anyone. He's brilliant!

Dave came out the same day I emailed him & mended 2 doors, one that could only be locked from the inside & a double glazing door that had totally seized up, he got on with the job with no fuss & cleared up afterwards.
Would definitely recommend South Hams Lock & Key again
