What sustainability means to us

'Over the last few months, we’ve been making some changes here at Nash & Co Solicitors. Some big, some small, but all of them have been done with the environment in mind. We’re very conscious that as a business, we have a responsibility to do what we can to reduce our impact on the environment and at the same time, enhance our sustainability as a firm. We also need to do what we can to encourage others to do the same.'

Having become aware of being one of the victims of the McClures administration.
Myself and sisters started to research into what we needed to do. When I contacted a solicitor locally they wasn’t interested one bit. My sister found Nash Solicitors on the FB page (Victims of McClures) with a list of other solicitors. I rang Nash and was forwarded to Amy Douch. How nice it was to be speaking to someone who knew all about it and what needed to be done.
Right from the off Amy told us exactly what the fixed price would be for the work involved. Obviously this will be different for everyone depending on the circumstances of the trust. We were fortunate that ours only involved our parent’s property. I phoned and emailed Amy on several occasions knowing they were all inclusive of the price. No hidden extras after the event. We first contacted Amy on the 11 December 2023 and both trusts were amended and completed by the 19 April 2024. I am now in the process of registering the trusts which Amy said she could do at a charge but I could register them myself for free and if I had any questions just to contact her. Which I have.
The service, the speed and kindness which Amy has given us in a situation we had no knowledge of has been wonderful. If you find you have become a victim then I highly recommend Nash and Amy to help you.
They have been honest and transparent throughout the whole process.
Thank you for helping us in what could have been an extremely stressful situation.

Having decided to move home recently we discovered that our trust solicitors McClures of Glasgow had gone into liquidation leaving us without trustees, therefore, unable to sell our property we needed to find a new solicitor to restore our trusts.

Amy at Nash & Co of Plymouth has proved to be an extremely competent and efficient trust solicitor.
Clearly explaining our options at every step and guiding us through processes we could complete ourselves Amy has brought our issue to a very speedy conclusion.

We would recommend anyone with a similar issue to seek Amy’s assistance.

When our property sells we will be asking Nash & Co’s conveyancing team to act for us.
