Kingsbridge Food and Music Festival has been cancelled for 2022.

The Kingsbridge Food and Music Festival committee shocked many people when they announced in the last hour that the event would be cancelled for the third year in a row.

The statement released by the committee says: "It is with heavy hearts that we must cancel this year's Kingsbridge Food and Music Festival 2022.

"Despite tremendous continuing support from our main sponsor Toad Hall Cottages and the food vendors who have already booked stand space, due to the lasting impact of Covid we are struggling to find the funding, resources and people to stage this year's event.

"To those who love and support this event this is not the news we wanted to announce.

"To our dedicated team of volunteer organisers who contribute time, expertise and huge effort putting this event together, it's bitterly disappointing."

As a main event on the social calendar of the South Hams, the Kingsbridge Food and Music Festival has been sorely missed during Covid times and now will continued to be missed this summer too.
