A beautiful and tranquil oasis for you to enjoy whilst you shop for your garden and home. Then stop and relax with something divine to eat from our Deli or Cafe. No worries about car parking, we've plenty of space.
Passionate as we are about plants, there’s a lot more to Avon Mill. We are just as passionate about everything else we do here, our food, our gifts, our customers, our staff.
So, the trees and plants in our garden centre are healthy and well cared for. The food in our cafe is cooked in our kitchen here, it's wholesome and delicious. Our deli’s products are stylishly presented and the best that the South West has to offer. And our friendly and knowledgeable staff go out of their way to make your experience here a good one and to welcome your children as well as your dog.
The surrounding Avon Valley and woodland offers fabulous walking and glorious Devon countryside for you to explore. A great spot for bluebells and wild garlic in the spring and a cool retreat in the summer. Magical on a frosty winter's morning.
So whether you live locally or are visiting the area, a trip to Avon Mill Garden Centre has something for everyone.

A fabulous selection of ornamental and fruit trees, shrubs, herbaceous and bedding plants, bulbs, seeds, aquatic plants and just about everything you need to make your garden grow and look beautiful. Many of our plants are grown locally and elsewhere in the South West, and are fully acclimatised to local conditions
We also offer a wide range of planters, composts, fertilisers, garden tools, water features, gravels and barks.
For those living by the coast or planning a seaside garden, a visit to our coastal plant collection is a must for tender plants and those that thrive near the sea. Or if you are looking for something suitable for that sunny spot in your conservatory, or your house, try our houseplant section.

Finally, stop off in our shop for a selection of cards or gifts for the home and garden lover. Free gift wrapping and help with heavy loads to the car. Delivery available for large or heavy items.

Our Cafe
Delicious breakfasts, brunches, morning coffee, lunches, homemade cakes and delicious Devon cream teas served in our warm and comfortable, licensed café.
All carefully prepared here in the kitchen at Avon Mill by our team of cooks, from fresh, seasonal ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible.
The perfect spot to meet a friend for a latte, hot chocolate, open sandwich or healthy salad. And if the weather’s fine, you can eat al fresco and enjoy the lovely courtyard setting.
We are child and baby friendly, our menu has something for all the family. You can also bring your four legged best friend, as we are dog friendly too.
Our Cafe is licensed to serve alcohol and for music and offers a relaxed and informal setting. In summer time and fine weather, your event can spill outside, al fresco style, to enjoy views over the Avon Valley.

'Art @ Avon Mill'
The 'First Floor' gallery is home to a seasonal collection of elegant, original and limited edition artworks, with a new collection every three months. More art is on show in our Cafe on the ground floor, so two floors of art to peruse.
Each collection showcases the work of professional and amateur artists from the South West. Open daily, monday-sunday, 10am-5pm.
Whilst viewing the art, why not relax and enjoy a coffee or glass of wine or may be even take lunch, just order from the Cafe below? The 'First Floor' has comfy sofas, so sit back and soak up the calm and creative atmosphere. And in summer months take in the sunshine on our lovely first floor decked terrace and wander the secret garden...
