Kingsbridge will get its own ice rink during festive celebrations

Kingsbridge is getting its own ice rink during the Kingsbridge Celebrates Christmas celebrations.

On Saturday, 4 December, between 10am-8pm, and Sunday, 5 December, between 10am - 3pm, there will be a little ice rink on the town square, complete with penguins for the younger skaters.

Kingsbridge Celebrates Christmas is providing the ice rink free of charge, with member of the organising committee Samantha Dennis said: “We want to see the good folk of Kingsbridge and the South Hams enjoying themselves after what has been a difficult couple of years.

“With this in mind we are still looking for businesses and individuals to sponsor the event. Kingsbridge WILL Celebrate Christmas this year so help us to make it fun, festive and free for all!
“Call Samantha Dennis on 07720 863626 if you can help.”

Another new thing for Kingsbridge Celebrates Christmas this year are new thermal keepsake cups with a logo. These are perfect for mulled wine and are available on the day for £2, or you can get one early by sending a message to the Kingsbridge Celebrates Christmas Facebook page.
