Police appeal for witnesses after fatal crash on the A38
Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal incident at Deep Lane, Plympton.
The incident happened on the A38 off-ramp at Deep Lane, Plympton, at 11.30am on Sunday, 1 August.
Emergency services were notified of a single-vehicle road traffic collision involving a Ford Fiesta on the A38 Deep Lane off-slip at Plympton, Plymouth.
Paramedics and police attended. The driver of the vehicle, a man aged in his 50s, was taken to Derriford Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Plympton off-slip was closed to allow for an examination of the scene and recovery of the vehicle.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for witnesses and anyone who might have dash cam footage of the incident to come forward. Call police on 101, or email
