We shared our house with James for nine months (not as a lodger I hasten to add) while it underwent a complete refurb. James is an exceptional builder with a fine eye for detail who takes immense pride in his work. If you have the good fortune to acquire his services you will be more than satisfied.
You would have thought having him around for nine months one would have been glad to see the back of him, but not so we missed him when he left!
In addition to his building expertise he is an extremely nice bloke.

James refurbished our cottage and understood exactly what we wanted, as well as being sympathetic to its age and character. Although it was a long project, he was always helpful, friendly and very neat. Nothing was too much trouble even feeding our cat! We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending James.

James Willis Bespoke is a one-stop house owner's dream. Yes, James is a fabulous builder but he also designs spaces, suggests decorative ideas and carries it all out with professionalism and personal charm, using a team of people who work to his very high standards. We have used him several times and we are always delighted with his work. We would recommend James to anybody thinking of making changes to their home; there is no-one better.

I can't recommend James highly enough. He has done two projects for us - one was a complete build of a two bedroom annex and the second was the remodeling of our kitchen - both are built to an excellent standard and finish. James worked with us from guiding us through the planning to the last lick of paint. Throughout the builds he was considered and he thought through every small detail. James is extremely tidy in his work so the building site was left immaculate every day, also he is very artistic so he has great vision. I wouldn't consider using anyone else in the future!
