SHDC has released the names of those standing for local elections in May - who are your candidates?

South Hams District Council has released the names of those standing for the local elections in May. 

The Statement of Persons Nominated for each of the town and parish elections that is to be contested at the local elections in May is now available on the SHDC website.

You can find out who is standing in your area HERE

Local elections for town, parish and district councils will take place on 4 May, and this year will be the first year that you will need to show ID in order to vote

You can register to vote, or check that you are registered on the Government website: www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. You can also register for a postal vote: www.gov.uk/government/apply-for-a-postal-vote.
