Town, parish and district councillors are up for election on 4 May

Town, parish and district council elections will take place on 4 May. 

Local elections for town, parish and district councils will take place on 4 May, and this year will be the first year that you will need to show ID in order to vote

You can register to vote, or check that you are registered on the Government website: www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. You can also register for a postal vote: www.gov.uk/government/apply-for-a-postal-vote.

All South Hams District Council seats are up for election: 

We will be reaching out to the candidates and bringing you all the information about who is standing and what they are standing for. 

The election count will take place the day after, 5 May, and we will update results as soon as we can on the day.
