Snow arrived in the South Hams on Thursday, but not everyone got to see their town and villages transformed into a winter wonderland.

Snow arrived on the morning of Thursday, 30 November, creating some stunning scenery across (some of) the South Hams.

Temperatures dropped and snow hit Ivybridge, transforming many areas to a winter wonderland, as well as Ugborough, Moorhaven, Modbury, Lee Mill, Totnes and Diptford, among others, but never made it as far south as Kingsbridge and Salcombe.

We asked for followers to our social media pages to grace us with their snowy pics and they did not disappoint.

Thank you to everyone who shared their images with us.

There is currently still a yellow weather warning in place for most of the South Hams for tomorrow (Friday, 1 December) for ice, so we may be able to see some more snow, glorious snow.

Find out more about the weather warning, forecasts and cold weather advice on the MetOffice website: www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/warnings-and-advice

Stay warm and safe, and if you want to send us a snowy shot of your area, get us on our socials or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
