Charleton pupils get creative making mini Bounty bars
FeaturedNewPupils at Charleton C of E Academy enjoyed a tasty afternoon of chocolate-making as part of a special whole-school cooking workshop led by Educatering, the school’s catering provider.
Children made their own treats, including truffles, Turkish delight and mini Bounty bars, giving them the chance to develop practical cooking skills and try something different in the kitchen.
The workshop was also held at nearby West Alvington C of E Academy, where the whole school took part in the morning before the session moved to Charleton for the afternoon.

Both schools also took part in crumble-making workshops, giving pupils the opportunity to learn more about cooking and food preparation in a fun and practical way.
The sessions also brought each school community together, giving pupils the chance to learn and create alongside their classmates.
