Collision in Kingsbridge Town Centre
Update #2:
It has been confirmed that yesterday's collision on Prince of Wales Road outside Ilbert Road Filling Station involving a white car being driven by a male under suspicion of driving under the influence did involve three vehicles.
A witness that was at the scene and in fact a driver of one of the vehicles involved has contacted SouthHams.com to confirm the matter. The witness and driver of one of the three vehicles involved said, "I can confirm that the collision yesterday involved 3 vehicles. I was one of the vehicles that was hit by the white car. He hit one car from behind, then reversed into me, and then went forward again and crashed into a bollard/pole on the pedestrian crossing". The witness did not want to be named but we thank them for getting in touch.
UPDATE:
The Police were called to the Prince of Wales Road at 18.30 on Tuesday 18 January following reports of a collision and a male has been arrested on suspicion of driving whilst impaired.
A collision believed to have involved three vehicles has taken place outside Ilbert Road Filling Station in Kingsbridge town centre. The police and ambulances are in attendance and the road is closed.
