Fire crews battle blaze in Sherford

Four fire engines attended a caravan fire in Sherford on Wednesday night. 

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service (DSFRS) was called at 17:40 to a Caravan fire in Sherford.

A spokesperson for DSFRS said: "Four [fire engines] attended and the caravan was destroyed and the barn adjacent was affected by fire and heat.

"We used two breathing apparatus, one attack jet, one hose reel jet, one safety jet and we left the scene at 21:40."
