Beacon Park Removals was established by Andy Pedrick and he was joined by his daughter, Leanne in 2009. Andy has been in the business since 1980 and our team of eight are a professional group providing a comprehensive service within the UK and to Europe. We use our own vehicles and staff are trained and experienced. We are committed to the total process.

What we do

We will pack your property or supply you with packaging materials should you wish to do this yourself.

We will store your property for a day or for years. Your property is fully insured while in our storage.

We will move your property any where in the UK or Europe. During transit your property is fully insured.

Piano Moving. We specialise in moving these precious items either as a one off job or part of a larger removal.

We offer an integrated service from door-to-door including packing and storage if you seek the services. Our family run firm has built up a strong reputation and much of our work derives from recommendations and repeat business. We carry out customers wishes quickly and flexibly and we consistently receive positive feedback from customers.

Packing

The prospect of packing and unpacking the contents of a room can be daunting – a whole house disheartening. Our team can take care of all the hard work for you. Just tell us what you want packing and we will do the work. If you wish, we will pack only part of your contents, the heaver or more delicate items – under your guidance.  

If you decide to pack for your self then we can supply a complete range of packing supplies to help make your move as simple as possible. With our reasonable prices, you can pack with ease and protect your treasures with some of the best products on the market.

Boxes

Our boxes are double skinned, so they are safe to stack and have the strength to prevent them from falling apart during the stresses of moving. Medium boxes – for books, china etc. Large boxes – larger or bulky objects.

We can also supply:

• Bubble wrap to protect valuables and pictures
• White packing paper for glassware and china
• Mattress protectors – keeping mattresses clean and mould free

Small moves service

We have a range of vehicles and the staff to assist with your move. Whether you are moving from house to house, business to business or moving within a departmental we will assist you quickly and efficiently.

As a business ourselves, we know the importance of limiting the interruption to the working day. For your convenience, our office removals service can work around your timetable so that your staff aren’t distracted and business can continue as normal throughout the process.

At Beacon Park Removals and Storage, we understand that musical instruments are cherished items – especially pianos. Over the years, generations of people have trusted us to move their grand and upright pianos. We currently carry out a considerable amount of work through recommendations from Rossner Pianos in the South West.

We are able to move pianos throughout the UK and with the more distant moves, we can offer either a special trip price or a part-load price. For example:

The part-load price is where the job is carried out alongside another job going to a similar part of the country. We can give approximate dates and times for collection/delivery beforehand, to make sure that someone is available to let us in.

Special trip price is a job tailored to your particular needs, where you can be more specific about dates and times.

Whether it’s an upright or grand concert piano, the instrument is protected with a ‘piano shoe’ and covers which remain in place until transported to its new home.
