Halloween party raised £1,000 for Hugs From Henry cancer charity
A charity Halloween event for Hugs From Henry, a children’s cancer charity, has raised £1,000.
Friends and neighbours Shannon Stark and Bianca Perret, organised the Halloween party for local people after missing out last year.
Shannon said before the event: “Children didn't get to enjoy it last year so lets go big this year.”
They decorated their houses on Saffron Park, Kingsbridge, and children from across the area came to have spooky fun and raise money for charity.

They decided to support Hugs From Henry as it was a local children’s charity and raised £1,000 for them with raffle tickets, glitter hair and temporary tattoos.
Shannon said: “Wow what a fantastic evening it was! Myself and Bianca were out there on the Saturday night and from 8am-9pm on the Sunday, setting up and welcoming people to our fantastic display. It was hard work, but very much worth it to raise the £1,000 for such a worthy cause.
“We couldn't have done it without the help of our neighbours and the support from our families and to Jas Kelly who came and did glitter hair and tattoos....roll on next year!”
