Kingsbridge Police have shared advice on what to do if you think you have been spiked
Kingsbridge Police have shared advice on what to do if you suspect you have had your drink spiked.
The information shared by Kingsbridge Police states that spiking is "when someone puts alcohol or drugs into someone's body or drink without their consent or knowledge".
It states: "It is illegal even if no other offence is committed."
The advice is that if you believe you have been spiked, contact the police on 101 or 999 and if you are in a bar or restaurant, to contact a member of staff. You should also take a urine test as soon as possible as drugs can leave the body quite quickly.
