Two interviewed by police following bandstand arson

Kingsbridge Police say they have interviewed "two males" following an "overwhelming response" to their appeal for information about the arson attack on Kingsbridge bandstand. 

A spokesperson for Kingsbridge Police confirmed that "two males were interviewed at the police station this afternoon" and that they have made "considerable progress in gathering evidence to identify those involved". 

They said there is an "abundance of CCTV cameras covering the area" and that officers are "in the process of reviewing all available footage".

They thanked members of the public for their "contact and collective efforts to help us with our investigation".

The spokesperson added: "We hope to update you further in due course. Please continue to contact us with any information relevant to the incident. Quoting log 147 of 22/1/23 or occurrence number 50230017533."
