We had a absolutely fantastic paddle boarding lesson with Sam. We had never tried paddle boarding before but Sam put us at ease & went through the basics before taking us out on the water, we went to a quiet spot around the corner to give us chance to practice standing before taking us on a tour of the estuary.
Sam was great, very friendly & patient with us.
It was brilliant to see Salcombe from a different view!
There are changing rooms/toilets/a small shower for afterwards & all our belongings were safely locked up in the unit while we were out.
Next time we are in the area we will definitely come back for another go!
As the roads are pretty narrow lanes to get there (it’s on the other side of the estuary from the town)
We parked in the town & used the ‘Salcombe ferry’ which runs across the estuary, (£2 something pp) and then a 10min walk on the other side. Much easier than trying to navigate the small lanes!
