Wembury Bay Riding School

We are a family run livery yard that offers riding throughout the year from a very special place. At Wembury we are extremely lucky to have some amazing places to ride; much of which are off road taking in the stunning views and beautiful woodlands.

The yard sits at the end of a lane overlooking the Atlantic ocean to the South West with views to the Mewstone, Rame Head and on a fine day to the famous Eddystone lighthouse and beyond.

We have 16 acres of bluebell woods which offer ever changing flora and fauna throughout the seasons. We are but 100 metres from Wembury beach and a stunning stretch of National Trust coastal path.

As well as a variety of lessons and hacks, we also offer several clubs including weekend kids' club, Tots' club and Ladies' clubs. And why not book horse riding party for that special occasion.

We have taken great care in selecting horses and ponies to suit all ages and riding abilities from compete beginners to advanced riders. Our horses are friendly and well-schooled in order for you to get the most from your riding experience.

Throughout the year we offer a range of organised riding and training events including jumping and dressage clinics, training and assessments, school Enrichment Weeks and lots lots more!
