Products or Services Provided
Qualified Tree Surgery and Landscape Management team, working with commercial and domestic clients in the South Hams since 2012. Serving customers in Bantham, Bigbury, Brixton, Ermington, Ivybridge, Kingsbridge, Modbury, Newton Ferrers, Noss Mayo, Plymstock, Salcombe, Thurlestone, Wembury and Yealmpton.
Coastal Garden Services was established in 2012 by Andy Walker after he left a career in the Fire and Rescue service. Andy has trained in both landscaping and horticulture at RHS level 3 diplomas level at Bicton College as well as level 2 and level 3 diplomas in Forestry and Arboriculture.
Having studied many aspects within the industry, Andy has a more holistic view of how trees, shrubs and plants fit into the landscape as part of an ecosystem rather just seen as individuals.
Andy completed the training course for DART International in 2018 to become a deployable Disaster Arborist Response Team member. Dart is a charity which offers relief work to disaster affected communities worldwide.
Since 2012, the family-based company has grown. Sarah Walker, Andy's taller and blonder better half, has joined as Business Partner to manage the office accounts, marketing and resourcing. She can also be found delivering logs and occasionally pushing a lawn mower. Declan Meadows began as an apprentice and is quickly making his mark as a confident tree surgeon. Out on the tools and driving our fleet is our fantastic team including Stuart, Phil, Jack, Ade, with latest additions Harry and James.
Coastal Garden Services is based near Modbury and covers the South Hams area. We undertake commercial and domestic work on either one-off jobs or rolling contracts.
