The Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta labelled the ‘Best in the West’, the Royal Regatta always lives up to its reputation with superb competition and brilliant entertainment.
Thousands of visitors from the region, nation and indeed the world descend on Dartmouth every August for a packed three-day programme of air sailing, sports, live music, street food, fireworks and more.
The centre of the Royal Regatta has always been the sailing, rowing and swimming. These sports have for several decades been supplemented by tennis and the road races. All are as popular as ever and as always the Royal Regatta will provide some excellent competition.
The focus of the Regatta is our beautiful town and the river Dart estuary, you will see sporting competition, entertainment and fun events for all the family. You can enjoy rowing, sailing, swimming, road races, tug of war - afloat, kayaking, Paddleboarding and many other sports that you can both watch or take part in.
We continue to share an excellent programme of entertainment and music both in the Marquee and on the Bandstand and we hope you will also enjoy the fireworks and air displays. The shopping village remains a great favourite in the Marquee. We also have many fun events, and Regatta week kicks off in style with our Fete, Dog Show and Regatta Jazz.
