BREAKING: Police chase car after migrants land on beach

Police appear to have chased a car that picked up individuals that arrived on Mothexombe beach by boat.

We have had reports that seven people arrived on Mothecombe Beach and entered a car, which was then chased by police and ended up at a garage in Wrangaton.

Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were notified at around 12.45pm today, Tuesday 4 July, to reports that several people were seen unloading from a vessel at Meadowsfoot Beach in Mothecombe, Plymouth.

"Officers have attended and enquiries are ongoing. Border Force have also been informed."

We will update this story as we learn more.
